How we choose stock

Three tests, and we do not list anything that fails them.

It meets a standard

ISO 3585 and ASTM E438 for borosilicate, USP <660> for Type I containers, ISO 8655 for volumetric devices. Where a tolerance class is stated it applies as supplied, at 20 °C.

It is repeatable

The item you buy this quarter matches the one you bought last quarter. When a manufacturer changes a specification, we tell you rather than let you find out at the bench.

You can standardise on it

Priced so a small laboratory can commit to it, not just buy whatever is cheapest this month. That is what makes a consumable worth putting in a protocol.

Bench essentials

Most of our customers are ordering against a protocol, a grant line or a maintenance schedule. Predictability matters more than novelty — so we keep specifications on file, and we quote a standing order for the consumable you go through every month.

What we do not sell

We supply general laboratory equipment and consumables. We do not manufacture, compound or supply pharmaceuticals, controlled substances or clinical diagnostics, and nothing we sell is intended for human or veterinary therapeutic use. If your application needs a certified reference material or a regulated device, we will say so plainly rather than sell you something adjacent.
